October 9, 2025: Baltimore, MD 21218 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD) and the host Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs (Baltimore, MD), observed Poly's volleyball team top Mergenthaler Vo-Tech by a count of 3-0.
The Engineers (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dunbar (Baltimore, MD). The Poets enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Dunbar was knocked off by City College (Baltimore, MD), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Mustangs battle the Edmondson-Westside Red Storm (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 14. Mergenthaler Vo-Tech will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Red Storm go into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Green Street Academy (Baltimore, MD).
