In Thursday's league challenge, the host Northlake Christian Wolverines volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Pope John Paul II Jaguars.

With the win, Northlake Christian improves its record to 18-10 on the season. The Wolverines host John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 19-6.

The Jaguars now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metairie Park Country Day for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15.
