Massachusetts High School Football - Wachusett Regional tops Walpole
November 1, 2024: Holden, MA 01520 The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Walpole Timberwolves to 13 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mountaineers now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shrewsbury for a Midland Wachusett - A test on Thursday, November 21. Wachusett Regional will meet a Colonials squad coming off a 20-13 non-league loss to Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA). The Colonials record now stands at 1-7.
With the defeat, Walpole drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA) to meet the Wildcats in a Bay State - Herget test on Thursday, November 28. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 6-2. Weymouth lost 35-13 in their recent non-league test against Wellesley (Wellesley, MA)
