November 1, 2025: Laurel, MS 39440 The Northeast Jones Tigers held off the host Laurel Golden Tornadoes soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal for a non-league bout on Monday, November 3.
The Golden Tornadoes (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Northeast Lauderdale was nipped by West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
