The Lewisburg Patriots held off the visiting DeSoto Central Jaguars football team by a count of 14-7 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Lewisburg upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Patriots host Madison Central (Madison, MS) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league outing on Friday, November 10. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 6-4. Madison Central won 35-3 in their recent league outing against Clinton (Clinton, MS)

With the loss, DeSoto Central moves to 5-6 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Tupelo (Tupelo, MS) to encounter the Golden Wave in a non-league outing on Friday, November 10.
