In Friday's non-league match, the host Betsy Layne Bobcats football squad scored a good 21-7 victory over the Prestonsburg Blackcats.

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Martin County Cardinals (Inez, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 10. Betsy Layne will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record.
