The Mallard Creek Mavericks walloped the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks football team by a count of 41-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Mallard Creek upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Watauga (Boone, NC) to encounter the Pioneers in a non-league outing on Friday, November 10. The Pioneers go into the outing with a record of 11-0. Watauga won 54-34 in their recent non-league outing against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC)

With the loss, Marvin Ridge moves to 6-5 on the season.
