The Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX) basketball felled the host Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), 42-28 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Rough Riders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sam Houston for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 7. Saginaw will encounter a Texans squad coming off a 55-7 non-league loss to Lakeview Centennial (Garland, TX). The Texans record now stands at 0-1.
