Indiana High School Basketball - West Vigo can't hold off Shakamak
November 4, 2021: Jasonville, IN 47438 The Shakamak Lakers basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting West Vigo Vikings to 30 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lakers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverton Parke for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 6. Shakamak will battle a Panthers team coming off a 42-34 non-league loss to Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Terre Haute South Vigo was nudged by Indianapolis Crispus Attucks (Indianapolis, IN), 44-34, in a non-league contest.
