Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Austin Eagles (Austin, IN) and the visiting South Ripley Raiders (Versailles, IN), saw Austin's basketball squad hold off South Ripley by a tally of 54-50.

With the victory, Austin improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN) to play the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 8. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Floyd Central lost 40-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN)

Next up, the Raiders play the Hauser Jets (Hope, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 5. South Ripley will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
