The Ballinger Bearcats basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Brady Bulldogs to 40 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bearcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocksprings for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30.

The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Early (Early, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Early ran past Tolar (Tolar, TX), 39-33, in a non-league contest.
