The Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) football overcame the visiting Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), 28-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 12. Crest will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 7-3 record after their 34-28 non-league win over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
