Mississippi High School Basketball - Pontotoc overwhelms South Panola
November 5, 2022: Pontotoc, MS 38863 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) and the visiting South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS), saw Pontotoc's basketball squad wallop South Panola by a tally of 76-35.
With the victory, Pontotoc improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 8. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Center Hill lost 80-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS)
Next up, the Tigers confront the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 10. South Panola will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 62-52 non-league loss to Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS).
