Pennsylvania High School Football - Chester sneaks past Marple Newtown
November 5, 2022: Chester, PA 19013 The Chester Clippers football squad scored 18 points and restricted the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers to 15 in the Clippers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Clippers now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plymouth Whitemarsh for a non-league battle on Friday, November 11. Chester will face a Colonials squad coming off a 41-0 non-league win over Sun Valley (Aston, PA). The Colonials record now stands at 9-2.
Coming up next, the Fightin' Tigers face the Penncrest Lions (Media, PA) in a Central battle, on Wednesday, November 23. Marple Newtown will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 1-9 record after their 28-26 league loss to Radnor (Radnor, PA).
