Arkansas High School Basketball - Rural Special fells Mt. Vernon-Enola
November 5, 2024: Fox, AR 72051 The Rural Special Rebels basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks to 54 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rebels now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Shirley for a 1A Region 2 game on Tuesday, November 12. Rural Special will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 82-29 league loss to Timbo (Timbo, AR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Mt. Vernon-Enola falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Bradford (Bradford, AR) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, November 7. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-3. Bradford lost 60-46 in their recent non-league game against Concord (Concord, AR)
