The Mt. Vernon Marauders basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Warren Central Warriors to 43 in the Marauders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Marauders now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rushville for a non-league contest on Friday, November 19.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Cathedral was nudged by Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN), 33-31, in a non-league contest.
