November 6, 2025: Concord, NC 28027 In Thursday's non-league test, the Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Stallions (Concord, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 40-31.
With the victory, Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Stallions travel to Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC) to encounter the Indians in a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 11. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 0-1. Westminster Catawba Christian lost 54-50 in their recent non-league battle against South Charlotte (Indian Trail, NC)
The Wildcats now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to SouthLake Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, November 10. Sugar Creek Charter will battle a Eagles team coming off a 73-34 non-league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
