The First Assembly Christian Lions basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Victory Christian Academy Eagles to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Victory Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pineview Christian (Harvest, AL). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Pineview Christian was nudged by Rocket City (Huntsville, AL), 68-53, in a non-league contest.
