Bethany Christian Bruins (Goshen, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Jimtown Jimmies (Elkhart, IN), 39-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bethany Christian upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bruins host Elkhart Christian Academy (Elkhart, IN) to play the Eagles in a Hoosier Plains bout on Friday, November 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Elkhart Christian Academy won 66-8 in their recent league bout against South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN)

Next up, the Jimmies play the Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) in a Northern Indiana bout, on Thursday, November 9. Jimtown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 58-26 non-league win over Concord (Elkhart, IN).
