November 7, 2023: Penasco, NM 87553 The Mesa Vista Trojans volleyball team (Ojo Caliente, NM), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM)
The Panthers (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Questa (Questa, NM). The Wildcats enter the 2A District 5 challenge with a 13-6 record. In their last challenge, Questa defeated McCurdy (Espanola, NM), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Wednesday, November 8. Mesa Vista will attempt to move on its 2-17 season record. The Rangers/Rangerettes enter the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM).
