Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS) and the host Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS), saw Loyd Star's basketball squad knock off Wesson by a tally of 71-60.

With the victory, Loyd Star improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Salem (Tylertown, MS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 10.
