In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Giles Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Auburn Eagles.

The Spartans (21-4) will now prepare for their battle against Eastside (Coeburn, VA). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 19-7 record. In their last battle, Eastside was edged by Northwood (Saltville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
