Massachusetts High School Football - Bishop Stang crushed by Newburyport
November 8, 2024: Newburyport, MA 01950 Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Bishop Stang Spartans (North Dartmouth, MA), 53-19 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Newburyport improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Clippers travel to Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA) to play the Rams in a non-league battle on Friday, November 15. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 9-0. Shawsheen Valley Tech won 56-6 in their recent non-league battle against Gloucester (Gloucester, MA)
The Spartans now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Medway for a non-league battle on Friday, November 15. Bishop Stang will play a Mustangs team coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Old Rochester Regional (Mattapoisett, MA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-3.
