Massachusetts High School Football - Doherty Memorial loses to Mansfield
November 8, 2024: Mansfield, MA 02048 Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Doherty Memorial Highlanders (Worcester, MA), 42-17 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Mansfield advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Hornets host Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA) to play the Indians in a non-league battle on Friday, November 15. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 7-2. Dartmouth won 32-20 in their recent non-league battle against Milton (Milton, MA)
The Highlanders now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Burncoat for a Inter-High battle on Thursday, November 28. Doherty Memorial will play a Patriots team coming off a 36-34 non-league win over North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-2.
