Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ), 38-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Holy Spirit advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league battle on Friday, November 15. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 8-3. St. Thomas Aquinas won 61-6 in their recent non-league battle against St. Mary (Rutherford, NJ)

The Griffins now own a 2-7 record.
