Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS), 55-28 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Union improves its record to 4-7 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, November 15. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 7-4. Leflore County won 36-6 in their recent non-league battle against Water Valley (Water Valley, MS)

The Wildcats now have a 7-4 record.
