North Carolina High School Basketball - Christ Covenant knocked off by New Life Academy
November 8, 2025: Winterville, NC 28590 In Saturday's non-league battle, the New Life Academy Bobcats (Elizabeth City, NC) basketball squad topped the host Christ Covenant Spartans (Winterville, NC), by a score of 56-39.
The Bobcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Temple Academy (Powell, TN). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Temple Academy prevailed over Fairview Christian Academy (Athens, TN), 55-38, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 17. Christ Covenant will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 62-32 non-league win over Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC).
