The The Burlington School Spartans basketball squad (Burlington, NC), was outscored 73-61 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC)

With the victory, Gaston Christian advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Eagles host Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Friday, November 14. The Knights go into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the New Garden Friends Bears (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 11. The Burlington School will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 56-38 non-league win over St. Christopher Academy (Wake Forest, NC).
