The New Life Academy (Elizabeth City, NC) varsity basketball team lost Thursday's neutral tournament game against Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC) by a score of 73-66.
The Trinity Christian Tigers basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting New Life Academy Bobcats to 66 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, November 10. Trinity Christian will battle a Knights team coming off a 41-25 non-league win over City Baptist School (Hammond, IN). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
The Bobcats (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain View Christian Academy (Cowpens, SC). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mountain View Christian Academy was nudged by Lake Pointe Academy (York, SC), 48-43, in a non-league contest.
