Arkansas High School Basketball - Kingston tops Cotter
November 1, 2022: Cotter, AR 72626 Kingston Yellowjackets (Kingston, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR), 53-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kingston upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Norfork (Norfork, AR) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, November 4. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Norfork lost 51-50 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR)
Next up, the Warriors play the Alpena Leopards (Alpena, AR) in a 1A Region 1 East bout, on Saturday, November 5. Cotter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Leopards come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 51-41 league loss to Eureka Springs (Eureka Springs, AR).
