November 1, 2023: Eminence, IN 46125 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN) and the host Eminence Eels (Eminence, IN), saw Martinsville's basketball squad hold off Eminence by a tally of 45-43.
With the victory, Martinsville improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Artesians travel to Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 4. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Indian Creek won 62-28 in their recent non-league challenge against New Albany (New Albany, IN)
Next up, the Eels play the North Putnam Cougars (Roachdale, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 4. Eminence will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 38-34 non-league loss to North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN).
