November 1, 2023: Mechanicville, NY 12118 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Mechanicville Red Raiders (Mechanicville, NY) and the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY), saw Mechanicville's soccer squad knock off Northeastern Clinton by a count of 3-1.
The Red Raiders now hold a 18-1 record. They play next when they travel to Canton for a non-league test on Saturday, November 4. Mechanicville will meet a Golden Bears squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY). The Golden Bears record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Northeastern Clinton drops to 13-3 on the season.
