Virginia High School Football - Jefferson Forest nips Amherst County

November 1, 2024: Forest, VA 24551

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) and the visiting Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA), witnessed Jefferson Forest's football squad edge Amherst County by a tally of 38-31.

The Cavaliers (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Seminole contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Liberty Christian got by Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 61-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lancers battle the Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA) in a Seminole contest, on Friday, November 8. Amherst County will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Minutemen enter the contest with a 0-9 record after their 50-0 league loss to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA).
