Arkansas High School Football - Blytheville thwarted by Pocahontas
November 1, 2024: Pocahontas, AR 72455 Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Blytheville Chickasaws (Blytheville, AR), 26-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Pocahontas improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Redskins travel to Highland (Hardy, AR) to play the Rebels in a 4A Region 3 battle on Thursday, November 7. The Rebels go into the battle with a record of 7-1. Highland won 46-6 in their recent league battle against Westside (Jonesboro, AR)
The Chickasaws now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Southside for a 4A Region 3 battle on Friday, November 8. Blytheville will play a Southerners team coming off a 49-14 league win over Trumann (Trumann, AR). The Southerners record now stands at 9-0.
