The Bourgeois Braves edged the host Central Lafourche Trojans football team by a score of 23-22 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Braves face the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) in a 5A District 8 challenge, on Friday, November 8. Bourgeois will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 22-20 non-league win over Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA).

The Trojans (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Terrebonne (Houma, LA). The Tigers enter the 5A District 8 challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Terrebonne held off Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA), 46-17, in a league challenge.
