The Cheshire Academy Cats (Cheshire, CT) football were winner over the visiting Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT), 33-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Cats now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Suffield Academy for a Northeast Prep outing on Friday, November 8. Cheshire Academy will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 41-0 league win over Phillips Academy (Andover, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Taft School drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Big red host Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT) to clash with the Bearcats in a Founders outing on Saturday, November 9. The Bearcats come into the outing with a record of 1-6. Hotchkiss School lost 22-7 in their recent league outing against Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT)
