November 1, 2024: Yuma, AZ 85365 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ) and the host Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ), witnessed Poston Butte's football squad topple Gila Ridge by a tally of 40-21.
The Broncos (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ). The Padres enter the 4A East Sky contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Marcos de Niza was outscored by Eastmark (Mesa, AZ), 39-3, in a league contest.
