Texas High School Football - San Saba can't hold off Holland
November 1, 2024: San Saba, TX 76877 Holland Hornets (Holland, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host San Saba Armadillos (San Saba, TX), 44-41 in a league test.
The Hornets now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thorndale for a 2A-1 Region IV District 14 test on Friday, November 8. Holland will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 40-25 league win over Harper (Harper, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
With the defeat, San Saba drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Armadillos host Mason (Mason, TX) to meet the Punchers in a 2A-1 Region IV District 14 challenge on Friday, November 8. The Punchers go into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Mason won 63-17 in their recent league challenge against Johnson City (Johnson City, TX)
