The Huntingtown Hurricanes football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Northern Patriots to 28 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Thomas Stone for a Southern Maryland test on Wednesday, January 1. Huntingtown will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 40-12 league loss to St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 0-9.

With the defeat, Northern drops to 5-4 on the campaign.
