Arkansas High School Football - Junction City sneaks past Lafayette County

The Junction City Dragons football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Lafayette County Cougars to 28 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Hill for a 2A Region 3 test on Thursday, November 7. Junction City will meet a Bears squad coming off a 42-8 league loss to Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR). The Bears record now stands at 2-7.

With the defeat, Lafayette County drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Foreman (Foreman, AR) to meet the Gator Arkansas in a 2A Region 3 test on Thursday, November 7. The Gator Arkansas come into the test with a record of 0-9. Foreman lost 45-14 in their recent league test against Gurdon (Gurdon, AR)
