The Nicholas County Grizzlies football team (Summersville, WV), was topped 23-15 in Friday's league bout with the host Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV)

With the win, Ripley advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Roane County (Spencer, WV) to encounter the Raiders in a Little Kanawha bout on Friday, November 8. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Roane County won 14-6 in their recent non-league bout against North Marion (Farmington, WV)

The Grizzlies now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to PikeView for a Coalfield AA bout on Friday, November 8. Nicholas County will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 20-13 league loss to Poca (Poca, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.
