Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA), 31-28 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Valley advances its record to 8-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Johnston (Johnston, IA) to play the Dragons in a non-league battle on Friday, November 8. The Dragons go into the battle with a record of 8-2. Johnston won 49-14 in their recent non-league battle against Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA)

The Black Raiders now own a 6-4 record.
