Texas High School Basketball - Walnut Grove holds off Frisco
November 1, 2024: Frisco, TX 75034 The Walnut Grove Wildcats basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Frisco Raccoons to 34 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 12. Walnut Grove will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 50-42 non-league win over Melissa (Melissa, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Frisco falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raccoons host Pearce (Richardson, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 5. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-1. Pearce lost 48-26 in their recent non-league game against Anna (Anna, TX)
