November 1, 2024: Mt. Vernon, AR 72111 Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Nemo Vista Red Hawks (Center Ridge, AR), 63-12 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. Vernon-Enola advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Warhawks travel to Rural Special (Fox, AR) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 5. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 5-1. Rural Special won 68-45 in their recent non-league match against Maynard (Maynard, AR)
The Red Hawks now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mulberry for a non-league match on Thursday, November 7. Nemo Vista will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Union Christian Academy (Fort Smith, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-3.
