Mississippi High School Basketball - George County succumbs to Presbyterian Christian
November 1, 2025: Lucedale, MS 39452 In Saturday's non-league test, the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) basketball team toppled the host George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS), by a tally of 43-26.
The Bobcats now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Lawrence County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 4. Presbyterian Christian will play a Cougars team coming off a 29-20 non-league loss to Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, George County falls to 1-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Poplarville (Poplarville, MS) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league test on Saturday, November 1. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-0.
