The Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) basketball felled the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 84-71 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC). The Bengals go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Greensboro Day School thwarted SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), 52-35, in a non-league test.

The Comets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Covenant Day for a non-league test on Saturday, November 12. Carolina International will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 64-54 non-league win over Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
