Massachusetts High School Football - Swampscott drops to Winthrop
November 10, 2022: Winthrop, MA 02152 In Thursday's non-league game, the Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA) football team knocked off the visiting Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA), by a final score of 21-0.
The Vikings (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Revere (Revere, MA). The Patriots come into the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Revere was dropped by Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA), 34-20, in a non-league game.
The Big Blue now hold a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marblehead for a Northeastern - North challenge on Thursday, November 24. Swampscott will meet a Magicians team coming off a 24-20 non-league loss to Milton (Milton, MA). The Magicians record now stands at 8-2.
