Texas High School Basketball - Lamar ripped by Hardin-Jefferson
November 10, 2022: Houston, TX 77098 The Hardin-Jefferson Hawks basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Lamar Texans to 18 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlingen for a non-league contest on Friday, November 11. Hardin-Jefferson will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 59-22 non-league win over Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.
The Texans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Cypress Falls was routed by Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX), 50-36, in a non-league contest.
