November 10, 2023: Newark, AR 72562 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) and the visiting Calico Rock Pirates (Calico Rock, AR), saw Cedar Ridge's basketball squad wallop Calico Rock by a tally of 71-30.
With the victory, Cedar Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR) to confront the Screamin Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 13. The Screamin Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Hillcrest won 60-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradford (Bradford, AR)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Rural Special Rebels (Fox, AR) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. Calico Rock will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 70-50 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR).
