Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX) and the host Vanguard Christian Knights (Boerne, TX), saw Charlotte's basketball squad hold off Vanguard Christian by a tally of 45-42.

With the victory, Charlotte improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Harper (Harper, TX) to play the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Knights play the Salem Sayers Baptist Academy (Adkins, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 13. Vanguard Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
